Terms and conditions

Booking

Tours can only be booked via the booking system on our website. In exceptional cases, bookings can also be made via phone call or email.

Rebel Tours Knöbl OG reserves the unrestricted right to refuse a booking at our discretion for any reason and at any time.

Terms of payment

Unless otherwise agreed, the event is to be paid for in advance by credit card or Paypal. In exceptional cases, payment can be made on site in cash or via online banking.

Cancellation conditions

Tours are conducted with a minimum number of four registered participants. If this minimum requirement is not met, the tour can be canceled by the organizer. The participants will of course be informed and any payments already made will be refunded. Customers can cancel open tours free of charge with 48 hours' notice. Cancellations at shorter notice must be paid in full. In the case of a private tour, the booking can be canceled free of charge up to five days in advance.

We ask guests to stay with the group throughout the tour and follow the tour guide's instructions. If the guest leaves the group or interrupts the tour, there is no right to a refund.

Rebel Tours Knöbl OG reserves the right to exclude one or more guests from a tour in case they obstruct the conduct of the tour, endanger the safety of the group or behave inappropriately. In this case, the guest is not entitled to a refund.

Complaints and comments must be submitted and dealt with during or immediately after the tour in the presence of the tour guide. Complaints submitted later cannot be accepted and do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Change/adjustment of tours

Rebel Tours Knöbl OG reserves the right, if necessary, to change or modify tours without prior notice, including changes or modifications to venues and routes. In the event of a change, we will endeavour to provide comparable venues and levels of quality, but accept no liability for any changes.

Liability

Participation in guided tours is without exception at one's own risk. The liability of the Tour Guide in the exercise of his/her professional activity is limited to damages that he/she has caused to others in an unlawful and culpable manner. The tour guide is not liable for damage caused to the guest by his/her own careless or careless behaviour or by accident. Furthermore, Rebel Tours Knöbl OG assumes no liability for personal belongings and valuables of the guests.

During our food tours, among other things, food is eaten and alcohol is consumed. Therefore, all guests are responsible for their own well-being and safety. Rebel Tours Knöbl OG accepts no liability for consequential damage resulting from excessive alcohol consumption.

Film and sound recordings

For copyright reasons, film and sound recordings must be agreed with the tour guide before the event.

Prevention

In the event of an impediment, the tour guide undertakes to arrange a replacement of equal professional quality. The guests must be informed about this circumstance as soon as possible.

Rules in case of late arrival of guests

For open tours, the tour guide agrees to wait for late guests until five minutes after the agreed tour start time before starting the tour with guests already present. For private tours the waiting time in case of late guests is 15 minutes. After this time, the booked tour is no longer valid and the agreed amount must be paid in full. We ask our guests to contact us in case of unforeseen complications in order to find a solution together.

Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for two years from the date of issue.

In case of ambiguity

In the event of any ambiguity, the contract will be interpreted in accordance with the professional guidelines for commercially authorised tourist guides, published by the Professional Association of Leisure Companies, Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO).

DATA Privacy

The protection of our guests' personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process the data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us

If contact is made with us via the form on the website or by e-mail, the data provided will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without the customer's consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the purchase process and for the subsequent processing of the contract, the IP data of the connection holder are stored by the booking system operator within the framework of cookies, as are the name, address and credit card number [...] of the purchaser. The data provided by the customer is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with the customer. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, as well as to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our obligations under tax law.

After cancellation of the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of the conclusion of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years). The data name, address, purchased product and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of the product liability (10 years). The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on the customer's end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on the customer's end device until they are deleted. They enable us to recognise the browser on the next visit.
If this is not desired, the browser can be set up so that it informs about the setting of cookies and the customer only allows this in individual cases.

If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web Analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information generated by this is transferred to the provider's server and stored there. This can be prevented by setting up the browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract for commissioned data processing with the provider.

The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

Newsletter

It is possible to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we require an e-mail address and a declaration that the customer agrees to receive the newsletter. As soon as the registration for the newsletter has been made, we will send an e-mail with the link to confirm the registration. The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled at any time. Please send the cancellation to the following e-mail address: hello@rebeltoursvienna.com. We will then immediately delete the stored data in connection with the newsletter dispatch. This cancellation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the cancellation.

Rights of the customer

With regard to the data stored by us, the customer is generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If there is any doubt about the lawful processing of the data, or if the customer sees his or her data protection claims violated in any way, he or she can contact us at hello@rebeltoursvienna.com.
